Fitting Dept: Pipe Management / Machine Operator

Hours: 6:00AM - 4:30PM | Monday - Thursday

Able to work Friday is needed

Essential Job Function:

  • Pipe Management – organize stainless steel pipe – various weights and lengths.

  • Remove pipe from crates and put on the correct pipe rack.

  • Make a label (using a computer and printer).

  • Retrieve pipe from the racks using a side loader forklift (trained by Manager). Forklift training conducted at Core Pipe.

  • Bring pipe into production on a daily basis.

Duties Breakdown:

Required Skills:

  • Forklift driving experience 1 to 2 years.

  • Experience on overhead cranes is a plus.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • Able to lift – may be heavy – overhead cranes are available to assist

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Must be dependable.

  • Good communication.

  • Ability to read.

  • Measuring equipment knowledge: micrometers, dial caliper and height gages.

Required Personal Protection:

  • Steel toe safety footwear mandatory.

  • Standard safety glasses w/side shields – company provides. Prescription safety glasses must be approved by OSHA standard and have side shields.

  • Hearing protection mandatory - company provides.

*Safety glasses provided unless employee wears prescription.
