Experience: 10-15 years

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing management, or relevant experience


Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage, train, and develop the best trained, professional sales team

  • Develop and implement sales strategy to reach company goals

  • Create individual targets for sales team to reach department goals

  • Lead outgoing meetings with customers either in person or online

  • Track and analyze data from sales activities to create positive movement

  • Build customer relationships or attract new leads in our industry

  • Receive incoming sales calls/quote on order inquiries

  • Manage the information provided by sales team and share with outside reps and team


Required Skills:

·       10-15 years of successful previous experience, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

·       PVF Industry and sales experience preferred.

·       Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.

·       Strong leadership qualities and ability to drive sales teams

·       Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

·       Ability to lead meetings with internal teams or external customers.

·       Coaching and mentoring skills

·       Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused.

·       Proficiency with all Microsoft Office tools

·       Experience with ERP systems (Epicor a plus)

·       Experience with CRM software

·       Training in sales management and promotion tactics or certifications, such as the Certified Professional Sales Leader (CPSL) or the Certified Sales Executive (CSE)


Responsibilities:

·       Maintain relationships; grow and service existing accounts.

·       Respond to communications promptly and professionally.

·       Recruiting and performance monitoring of sales team

·       Proactively generate sales and promote Core Pipe through outbound initiatives.

·       Create a program for the team to contact customers or potential customers on a regular basis.

·       Motivate and create incentives for sales team.

·       Prepare and conduct regular sales meetings

·       Communicate feedback and market information to the sales team.

·       Respond to customer inquiries.

·       Follow up on quotes.

·       Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.

·       Process and review customer purchase orders.

·       Coordinate department tasks to effectively utilize your time.

·       Coordinate with production to identify lead times and shipping dates.

·       Communicate customer issues or potential problems to upper management.

·       Represent Core Pipe in a positive manner.
